Talented And Gifted (TAG)

For 2024-2025 school year:

• November 4th and 5th - CogAT Screener for students in 3rd grade. 
• November 4th-6th- CogAT screener for nominated students K-2 and 4th/5th grade students that did not attend a BSD school last year.
• We will no longer be accepting Parent Nomination Forms for grades K-3. 4-5th grade families will receive a link to sign up for testing as long as your student did not test the year prior. This is coming from classroom teachers and the Raccoon Register. (After 9/20/24) 
• CogAT Post screener for 3rd-5th grade will be December 10th-11th. 4th grade will be November 19th.
• December 2nd- Letters home for those who have been selected in grades (k-5) for CogAT testing this December
• Final TAG placement will not be made until after January. Scores will be posted in ParenVUE when all students in the district have tested. 

There will be no ITBS testing this year for any grade. 

 

ALL 3rd grade students will be administered the COGAT Screener IN November

• Students who score at the 90th percentile, or higher, will take the Post Screener  December 10th-11th

• No further action steps are needed to move forward with post screener.
